Alice Hale

Alice is a seasoned marketer with over 30 years of experience including strategic planning, project management, and program development. She currently manages Marketing and Communications for Chevron Canada Lubricants Division and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Masters of Business Administration and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Roland Mitchell
Vice Chair

Roland has worked as a financial professional for a number of national and international companies, ending his business career with early retirement in 2011 as CFO of a national Canadian distribution company. He has a BA (Honours) from SFU and has held a CPA- CA designation for over 33 years.
Dr. Tony Taylor
Past Chair

Tony brings over twenty years of healthcare experience to his practice at both the clinical and senior management levels. Dr. Taylor is an Emergency Department physician working at RCH & ERH and is the President and Senior Consultant for Convergent Healthcare Consultants, a consulting company focused on quality and patient safety, clinical operations and leadership development.
John Stubbs

John Stubbs is a retired professional historian and has served as a faculty member and President and Vice-Chancellor of SFU and Trent University and faculty member/administrator at the University of Waterloo. Currently, John is a member of the BC Degree Quality Assessment Board and the Village of Belcarra Board of Variance. John looks forward to contributing to the fine and much needed work done by Crossroads.
Natalie Lisik

Natalie Lisik is a Certified Disability Management Professional and is currently pursuing her MBA in Executive Management at Royal Roads University. She brings a passion for helping people and wide variety of work and volunteer experience to the Board. This experience includes corporate and public affairs, human resources, business analysis, marketing, and health, safety and wellness in the private and public sector.
Jacqueline (Jackie) Gorton

Jacqueline (Jackie) Gorton is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over twenty years' experience as a Finance professional working in large public- and private-sector enterprises. She has broad experience serving Boards and working with senior management. Her areas of expertise include finance, audit and risk management as well as strategic and business planning. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration, both from Simon Fraser University. She also has her Certified Internal Auditor designation. She has experience teaching financial and managerial accounting at the university level.
John Meneghello

John brings over 35 years of experience in business and nonprofit work to the Crossroads Hospice. He is currently a director of the college of Dietitians of BC but has been board chair of the Coquitlam Public Library Board of Trustees, the Kinsmen Foundation of BC and Yukon, and the Vancouver Transportation Club. John was a member of the Kinsmen Club of Coquitlam for 34 years, and also devoted time to the city of Coquitlam's Economic Development committee, the Coquitlam Senior and Junior Adanacs' Lacrosse Clubs, and co-chaired a golf tournament that raised $182,000 for type 1 diabetes research. John currently owns and manages JLM Marketing Limited - a petroleum marketing business.
Margaret MacDonald

Margaret MacDonald, a New Westminster resident, recently moved here from Manitoba. Her experience with palliative and end of life care includes being a past member of the Brandon Hospice Society and Chair for a Manitoba Health Authority (retired). She will bring her experience with strategic planning, policy boards, hospice and health care to our Board.
Cecily Baptist

Cecily Baptist, a Belcarra resident, is a retired business executive in technology development and marketing. She is an active community volunteer teaching ESL to immigrants and writing for the Mossom Creek Hatchery website. Her strengths include strategic planning, organizational development, and communications. Cecily has previously served on a non-profit board and has experience with services similar to those that Crossroads provides
Gilbert Nigh

Gilbert Nigh, a New Westminster resident, has 25 years experience working in non-profit internationally and on policy boards. He brings his multi-cultural knowledge and experience with death in different cultures through his work in four countries. He will share his experience of supporting those requiring end of life support especially with his work liaising with hospitals and their health care system. Recently re-settled back in Canada, he aims to connect with others and contribute to community beyond his current circle.
Wade Leslie

Wade Leslie is the Vice-President and General Manager at Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd (PCT). In his role, Mr. Leslie is responsible for ensuring the Company is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner that protects the environment and the health and safety of employees and the community, while providing superior terminalling services to its bulk commodity customers.

In addition to his role as Vice President and General Manager, Mr. Leslie sits on the PCT's board as an executive director. He is also involved in a number of industry groups, such as the British Columbia Wharf Operators Association and the British Columbia Marine Employers Association Bargaining Committee. Mr. Leslie has experience working with a number of volunteer organizations at the board level.)
