Colette Eng Chair
Residing in the Tri-Cities, Colette graduated from Centennial Senior Secondary school in 1987. She began her career with Westminster Savings Credit Union in 1992 working in various positions. At the same time, Colette attended BCIT and in 1998, completed a certificate in Financial Management, Financial Planning. She very much enjoys helping members achieve their financial goals and realize their dreams. Colette enjoys travelling with her husband, most recently to Italy, China and East Africa. Colette believes Crossroads to be an excellent organization and community minded. She very much looks forward to contributing to its success. |
Ted Kuntz Past Chair
Ted Kuntz is a long standing member of the Crossroads Family. Ted has served on the Board of Directors of both Crossroads and the Foundation. Ted helped guide us during our construction of the free standing hospice and was instrumental in the creation of the labyrinth in the healing garden. Ted is a Psychotherapist in private practice in Coquitlam. |
Bob Tanaka Treasurer/Secretary
Bob is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience. He is an active community member and has served on various Boards throughout the Tri-Cities community. |
Margaret MacDonald Director
Margaret MacDonald, a New Westminster resident, recently moved here from Manitoba. Her experience with palliative and end of life care includes being a past member of the Brandon Hospice Society and Chair for a Manitoba Health Authority (retired). She will bring her experience with strategic planning, policy boards, hospice and health care to our Board. |
Jason Jakubec Director
Jason is a local lawyer and an active member, and Past President, of the Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise. He one of the founding members of the law group Lawyers West where he specializes in Business Law, Commercial and Real Estate, Employment Law, Real Property, Taxation, Wills & Trusts. |
Sharie Ford Director
Sharie, a 40 year resident of Coquitlam and retired banker, joined Crossroads Board of Directors in 2002 after the first recovery of her husband John from lung cancer. Crossroads Hospice Society has been a major focus for them as a couple during the ensuing years, through board and committee work, fundraising and as visiting/support volunteers in the Crossroads Inlet Centre Hospice. Most recently she co-chaired the launch of the Bucket List Festival, Crossroads community education event. She strongly believes in and is committed to community and the strength and support we give to and receive from each other. |
Lynn Schwarz Director
Lynn has been an active volunteer for Crossroads Hospice for more than 20 years. Her management and organizational skills have benefitted many fundraisers and events for the organization. Her professional life was health care related where she served on a number of associated Boards and committees. One of her goals in life is to follow her father's example of actively participating in organizations she belongs to and giving back to the community she lives in.

Roland Mitchell Director
Roland has worked as a financial professional for a number of national and international companies, ending his business career with early retirement in 2011 as CFO of a national Canadian distribution company. He has a BA (Honours) from SFU and has held a CPA- CA designation for over 33 years. |
