Crossroads volunteers can be found throughout the communities of Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. They come from all walks of life, both young and old, to help build this amazing community of compassionate care.
Crossroads is committed to celebrating the success of our volunteers and holds two annual events to show its appreciation. In Spring there is a Volunteer Appreciation Event and in December a Christmas Potluck. Volunteers also receive a monthly newsletter to keep them up-to-date about all Crossroads activities.
Also, as opportunities arise, Crossroads Hospice Society will provide letters of reference for academic or employment opportunities, nominations for volunteer community awards and surveys to ensure continued satisfaction as a Crossroads volunteer.

HOSPICE AND BEREAVEMENT VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers take part in the day-to-day operations of the hospice and in the community working with those who are dealing the end-of-life experience. They offer personal support to patients and loved one to create comforting and meaningful connections. Above all hospice volunteers offer an ear to listen and arms to comfort. Training is required. THRIFT STORE VOLUNTEERS
Crossroads Thrift Store is always looking for new volunteers. A variety of positions are available along with opportunities to gain work experience, make new friendships while contributing to your community. Hike for Hospice
Help us on Sunday, May 4, 2014 for the 12th Annual Hike for Hospice. This national, pledge-based event is a family and community fundraiser that provides lots of opportunities for you to get involved.
Treasures of Christmas Committee Volunteers
Join a committed and creative team of individuals who organize and delight our guests at our annual fundraising gala Treasures of Christmas. This year's gala will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2014.
Community Booth Volunteers
Throughout the year Crossroads needs volunteers to represent our society at local community events such as fairs, farmers markets and community events. Volunteers must be comfortable with dealing with the public and possible discussions about the end-of-life experience.
Arms Pub Meat Draw
Do you have some time Friday afternoons to help sell meat draw tickets at Port Coquitlam's Arms Pub? This is an informal and fun opportunity to meet new people and support Crossroads.
